JOB POSTING: Part-time Human Resource Generalist
Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource position or similar role; a bachelor’s degree is preferred

Hiring Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour based on experience. Starting wage will not exceed mid-range. Actual compensation may vary based on numerous factors including experience, education, and/or proven skills.
Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist we will look to you to help build, improve, and sustain working relationships and align the objectives of local government with employees and Constitutional Officers.
You will proactively identify opportunities for improvements in processes, procedures, and routine tasks, utilizing best practices and feedback you receive to help the department operate efficiently.
This position may face complex problems and must analyze practical solutions while influencing others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
You will aid with benefits, policies, processes, and practices such as new employee orientation and paperwork, all HR related reports, and work with the payroll system.
You will resolve issues and provide outstanding service to internal customers.
Further, you will participate in and drive various projects related to HR business practices and policies.
You will manage employee termination process, conduct exit interviews to collect information regarding employee experience, reasons for leaving, and any other feedback, and make recommendations to address those findings.
You will also administer employee leaves of absences, coordinating between the employee, management, and third parties to ensure seamless experiences for all parties.
You will participate in team projects, meetings, training, and other events when appropriate, and will assist the team with special events, and perform other duties as assigned.
