Public Meeting Notice

The Southwest Georgia Regional Commission will hold a public meeting to inform the public about the funds received to upgrade the Communications System from VHF to an Interoperable P25 Communications System to serve Public Safety and First Responders in twelve counties in Region 10. This meeting will give the citizens an opportunity to become familiar with the project and for public comments. The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 10.00 am at Southwest Georgia Regional Commission, 181 East Broad Street, Camilla, GA 31730. The public is encouraged to attend and provide input on different items, such as economic and environmental impacts, service areas, alternatives to the project, or any other issue identified by Rural development.
